GARGRAVE OPEN GARDENS 2019

The 2019 Gargrave Open Gardens event was yet again a spectacular success, raising £4,730 for St Andrew's Church. The figure surpassed the event’s record total of £3,700 in 2018. Over 500 people enjoyed the garden gems on offer in the village. This year saw 25 open gardens, with five new openers for the first time. Several musicians performed in the gardens, including the Craven School of Music Training Band on stage at the Village Hall. In addition, members of Gargrave Art Group worked in a number of gardens, adding to the overall sensory mix within the event. Animals from the Hart Farm were also thoroughly enjoyed by all.
