GARGRAVE OPEN GARDENS 2018

More than 400 people including from as far afield as Edinburgh and Hampshire enjoyed the 2018 Gargrave Open Gardens event, raising £3,700 for the village’s St Andrew’s Church. Some 23 villagers opened up their gardens for the day, and visitors were serenaded to live music from The Fairfax Singers, as well as several guitarists. Members of Gargrave Art Group also had on show horticultural themed paintings and textile works. In addition, the Hart Farm went along, with Alpasta the alpaca, pigmy goats and a miniature donkey.
